Below you will find some of the questions we are frequently asked. If this page, or our Terms and Conditions page, do not answer your questions please email, call or use the on-line chat facility.

Ordering

Yes - see section "About Us"  

Our daily cut-off time for Irish orders is 12pm. Orders placed before that time will be processed and shipped that day. All orders received after that time may not be processed until the following day. 

Payments

No. There is no surcharge for using any credit cards we accept.

This is a question we are asked frequently, perhaps because our prices are so low! Yes, all items are new, are the latest models and come with a full manufacturer's warranty. All new phones are SIM free.

No. All items are shipped direct from the warehouse. 

Surveys regularly report that a large percentage of people are still concerned about card fraud. We use Stripe eCommerce Payments - one of the largest credit card processing services. Your card details are thus totally secure and never stored with us. We also use secure SSL encryption for any other details entered online like delivery address etc. However, if you are still concerned you can phone us with your cc details and we will process them securely immediately via Stripe eCommerce Payments.

Delivery

We can arrange to open an account for companies subject to the usual conditions. We also accept PO’s from educational establishments and Government departments. Please call us for further details (01-840-8144).

If you cannot find detailed product specifications, or you need more information on any product, simply call us or e-mail info@microaid.ie and we will send the specifications you require via a .pdf file. We promise to respond to every e-mail.

If you change your mind about any product ordered we will issue a refund on receipt of the returned product - you must contact us first for a Returns Authorisation. This must be within 5 working days of your receipt of the order. The original product packaging must be unopened and seals unbroken. The item must be unused; a restocking charge may apply. The exceptions are of course a product which is damaged or faulty under warranty.  See also Returns Policy under "Info" in Shop area.

Yes, a home delivery service is available.

No, all orders are shipped directly from the warehouse and delivered next day by courier (if you are in a 24Hr delivery area)

Email us anytime with your requirements/specifications and we will send you a PDF file comparing up to five similar products. Or we can send you a HTML file showing a complete stock listing/pricing for any product line.

If you find a lower price in Ireland or the UK on any product let us know. Email or call us and we will do our best to match or better it for you!

We accept PayPal, Mastercard, VISA, Visa Debit etc. Your credit card is processed securely via Stripe eCommerce Payments. PayPal charge your account immediately but we promise to refund your PayPal account on the same day in the rare instance that something should go amiss.

Similarly Stripe charges your account usually within three days.  Again, we will refund your card payment immediately if anything should go wrong or stock is unduly delayed and you wish to cancel.  

We accept orders via phone, website or e-mail. Purchase Orders are accepted from Government Departments, Educational Establishments and our regular customer accounts.

Overnight Courier via BCSXpress Couriers - €12.50+vat . Orders must be placed before noon for next working day delivery. The overnight service covers most of the Republic of Ireland. However, there are some locations which may take two days such as the West, SW and NW of Ireland. If in doubt call or email us. While our courier service via BCSXpress is normally excellent, we cannot accept responsibility if they fail to deliver on a specified day or time.
